1、Calculate Heat Loss

Technics terms：

⑴ Maintain Temperature(Tm) 　
⑵ The lowest Environment Temperature(Ta)　
⑶ Tube diameter　
⑷ Heat-insaluting material　
⑸ Heat insulation thickness　
⑹ Safety factor

Q Heat Loss of the Tube Per Meter(W/m)=q×△t×K

Hereinto:

q:Tube heat loss（the heat loss of tube per meter changing 1℃, see the upper table on page 4 ）

△t=Tm-Ta

K:the heating quotiety for each kind of heat-insaluting material (see the lower table on page 4 )

For example:

Tm=30℃
Ta=-10℃
Tube Diameter=100mm
Heat-insaluting material:glass fibre
The thickness of heat insalution:25mm
△t=Tm-Ta=30-(-10)=40
K=0.040(See table “the heating quotiety for each kind of heat-insaluting material”)
q=18.87(See table“Tube Heat Loss q”)
Q=18.87×40×0.040W/m

QThe Heat Loss for Store Tank (W)=q×Δt×K×S
